"I liked the book series, the tv series was pretty accurate with the books as well."

"As a fan of The Strain I have to agree with others that this 2nd book in the trilogy is a disappointment. Where the series took its time to delve into the back stories and switch out the strands of the narrative, the book tends to be more predictable and less imaginative. The characters of Eichorst, Setrakian, and Palmer all meet their end in this middle section which is much earlier than in the series. I’ve just started the final book so we will see how it is resolved compared to the show. One thing I do know, Fet rocks in both!! Thanks to Kevin Durant’s great interpretation of this character."
