"This was decent start to a new series. This is slightly different from some of the other mystery books I'm used to reading. Morgan is a single mother thrown into this case. Taking on this case actually derails the plans she had previously made. It wasn't some case that landed on her desk or one she asked for. It was because she was the only one who believed her neighbor and family friend was innocent.<br/><br/>Towards the end, the narrator started to sound a little robotic in her narration. I don't know if it was just a one off, and as I have the next one lined up I hope it doesn't continue. The first 3/4 of the book was a good narration. The last 1/4 was something bland."
