"This story is so well-written as the author beautifully writes about so many raw moments with such sincerity and care. The main characters are incredibly lovable. Johnny and Shannon have my heart as not only was it amazing to watch their relationship grow but also them individually. There were so many moments that truly built up to this special kind of love the two main characters shared for each other. However, sometimes some words and interactions felt slightly repetitive and I was not truly hooked until a little bit more into the book. I love yearning and for the characters to be obsessed with each other without the other knowing (with a little slips), but I think I would have liked if they communicated a little bit more about how they really felt about each other. But, with that being said, I am so excited to read the next book and spend more time with Johnny and Shannon and see what it looks like for them to be with each other."
