"What a great read. I absolutely loved the premise of the book and loved that it spanned three generations with alternating points of view. The time travel was exciting and not confusing and each character, including the side characters, were complex and intriguing.
I loved how central Molly’s comic books became. Each issue told the story about Anna either in the past or presently. I thought it was a creative literary device to connect the three main women; Anna, Molly, and Raisa. It was done very well. I wish the comics actually existed or were included in the book!
I thought this book had the perfect blend of science, time travel, and character development. I didn’t expect it to be so sad which made me love the characters, especially Raisa, even more. There’s even romance sprinkled in. While reading, I felt like I had left my own world and was immersed in”Atomic Anna”’s . I’m not giving a full five stars because I think some of the sex scenes could’ve been less explicit.
4/5 stars"
