The gripping conclusion of the bestselling Fire and Ice Trilogy I'd thought the threat from Seattle was finished. That we showed up in time and took care of business. I hate being wrong. It really ruins my day. When Roger, the alpha of the North American pack, shows up at my door with the news that a demon has made it to the Underworld with knowledge of me, some hard decisions have to be made. Do I stay above ground, with all my magical friends, and wait for the battle to come to me? Or do I seek the demon out, and pluck the threat out by the root? I don't want my friends to die on my behalf. I could never live with myself. But if I venture into the Underworld, it'll be the most perilous journey of my life. This time, it isn't just my life hanging in the balance, it is my eternity.

"<strong>The series had to end. </strong><br/><br/>So I’m sad the series had to end but also so great full to the author for not dragging out the series. I’m super happy this series was only 3 books and had an actual ending. I hate when I’m dragged along book after book chasing that feeling of closure while the author runs out of ideas and starts warping the storyline or makes it unbelievably boring. <br/><br/>This book is the final in a series of 3 books. Yes it does end and wraps up most loose ends but a few are left hanging. Those loose ends allow for more books in the same world to be written which is totally fine. I like having the ability to choose if I want to read more of the storyline and this author does that. <br/><br/>Like I said there are a few loose ends and the ending wasn’t what I had wanted but it was still good. The story started to warp and drag a little and that’s why I gave only 4 stars instead of 5 like the other 2 books."
