"9/10 muichiro defeats upper rank 5 gyokko after close death. And receives a new sword and we receive some muichiro backstory. Seems to have some sort of relation to Tanjiro because he has the fire mark on his face. Misuri kanjori comes to help Tanjiro and the others defeat the upper rank 4 demon hantengu who split his body into 5 different beings based on emotions. As of the end of this volume the demon slayers are struggling against the upper rank 4 demon while muichiro is suffering from poison effects. "
