"Quick, easy read. Reminds me of teenage years and first loves gone by. Young girl caught between first love feelings for one brother and budding feelings for another brother. The setting of it, at a beach in a beautiful house, really sets the scene. The show on Prime really makes it come alive and although it deviates from the book, it definitely adds to it."
"I really enjoyed The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han. I picked it up after watching the Prime series to see if the book was better, and honestly, they’re both very good. The book was a fast and entertaining read, and I loved following Belly’s summer at Cousins Beach with Conrad and Jeremiah. The mix of first love, self-discovery, and the complicated love triangle kept me hooked, while Susannah’s battle with cancer added a touching, emotional layer. Overall, it’s a sweet, heartfelt coming-of-age story that was definitely worth the read.
