Ex-Heroes

"I was hoping for a lot more since people generally seemed to enjoy this book more than Peter Clines' predecessors, but it lacked the same in-depth character portrayals his other books had and didn't provoke the same need in me to keep turning the pages (or keeping listening since I was doing this through audible). By the end of the first book I still didn't care what happened to the characters and none of them really stood out to me. Once I finished the book I was kind of left with the feeling of "is this it"? Sadly it was. <br/><br/>I don't plan on reading/listening to the rest of the series. It wasn't by any means bad, and I realize I'm going against the majority, but it just wasn't anything special. I felt like this was a practicum novel done by a college student."
