Ozzy Osbourne
Heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne shares his unbelievable story for the first time in this tell-all memoir of sex, drugs, and rock-and-roll. Take what you thought was "rock and roll excess" and double it–you still wouldn't be anywhere near the dizzying life of Ozzy Osbourne. Born into a life so poor that the whole family slept in one room, music was his salvation, and his band Black Sabbath went on to change the musical landscape forever. But along with the rock and roll came the inevitable sex and drugs, and Ozzy soon fell into an epic relationship with booze and chemicals. The stories of Ozzy's days on the road are now those of legend–biting the head off a live bat, the tragic plane crash that took the life of his best friend and writing partner Randy Rhoades–but few know of the real heartbreak he suffered during those days of hard living. In the end, it was the love of his family that saved him. Told for the first time in the rocker’s hilarious and inimitable voice, Ozzy finally comes clean.

"First off let me say I'm a huge Ozzy Osbourne fan, my favorite band is the original Black Sabbath. that being said let's get on with the review<br/> <br/>it goes over all the darkest parts of the prince of darkness life and even those are funny as hell (subtract the death of Randy Rhoads and that time Ozzy tried to kill Sharon) from biting the head off live birds and a live bat to giving a priest cake with sweet leaf in it. from partying with Motley Crue to his fathers death. how Black Sabbath was created and the first time he tried to get a cigaret in America. Ozzy is Ozzy so everything he does is funny as hell.<br/><br/>if your a fan of his music i highly recommend this book <br/>if your just want a good laugh i also recommend it<br/>or if you just want learn why Ozzy Osbourne is the craziest mother ****** on the planet i recommend you start with this book.<br/><br/>"Out of everything I've lost, I miss my mind the most!" <br/>— Ozzy Osbourne"
"I tore through this book, thoroughly enjoying the way Ozzy’s voice comes across as his own. Hearing from his own mouth about his experiences from childhood and onwards demystifies the legends surrounding the Prince of Darkness including the infamous bat head and the real reason Black Sabbath found their sound in darkness and gloom. Ozzy is very candid about the way he lived his life throughout his career and is surprisingly reflective about his actions, taking responsibility for his poor behavior surrounding substance abuse. Any Ozzy fan NEEDS to read this book."
