"Great characters and plots! The description of everything made me like I was watching a movie. Many twists, turns, angles, and just when I thought I’d figured it out…I never did until the very end! I’ve never read BR Myers, but will definitely look for more! "

"4/5 ⭐️ This book was great! I loved the concept (a fake spiritualist trying to solve a murder mystery but also kinda a Victorian gothic romance), and the mystery plot was so well done. The story was so fun, and the cast of characters were perfectly utilized in the story - I was questioning everything the whole time. I’m taking points off because it was a little spooky for me (but I’m just terrified of everything), the romance was a bit underdeveloped (though I’ve read much worse), and the ending was kinda bonkers (though in a fun way). But I know that this is a book that I would love even more upon reread. I was so impressed by this book, and would love to read more types of books like this and more by this author."
