Thundarr the Barbarian image

Topic: Thundarr the Barbarian

For you older folks like me, I recently noticed Amazon has a channel called WB Cartoon Rewind. You don't need to be a member, it's part of their vast Live TV channel lineup. They play shows like Thundar, Pirates of Dark Water, Silverhawks, Centurions, Go Bots, Lonestar, and just about every other cartoon I watched as a kid. It's a huge blast of nostalgia if you watched Saturday morning or after school cartoons back in the day 😁.

Craig S.Β I mean, we're getting a live action He-Man (another one) and Voltron movie, why not Pirates? That was an epic show.

JojoΒ Damn! Just looking at the date for some of these cartoons and when they premiered just tells me that I wasn't even a thought in my parents' heads, let alone alive. But I'm really interested in the history of animation. It doesn't matter if it's older than dirt or the newest cartoon out at the time. I'm most likely going to watch it.

Craig S.Β Nah, one was plenty. I like spending my money on other things other than dog food/toys and vet trips. Plus I'm a night person for the past few decades because of my job and a pet needs attention during the day while I'm asleep πŸ˜΄πŸ˜‚

Vito LupedeeΒ I loved Thundarr!!! Do they have Herkuloids? That was great too

Craig S.Β I haven't seen Herculoids as of yet, but they just keep rotating the shows so fingers crossed because The Herculoids, Space Ghost, and Birdman were in the top of my favorites.

Brandon ReedΒ What app did you say this is on? I can't find it on Prime or Freevee.

Craig S.Β It's in the live TV section of Prime under the TV Shows category. It's far down the channels and it's called WB TV Cartoon Rewind. There's actually lots of phenomenal channels dedicated to classics. I just noticed there is a Dungeons and Dragons channel where they actually play the cartoon. If you've never explored this live TV section I highly recommend browsing around. Freevee doesn't seem to have the guide or categories, it's just random live channels posted to watch.

Craig S.Β I just noticed that the channel is also under the Comedy category which you don't have to scroll down a couple hundred channels like the TV Shows category to find it. I didn't think to look there because all the shows I mentioned aren't comedies, but I now remember seeing Pac-Man and Beetlejuice on there before so I guess there are comedies on that channel as well.
