Is there a specific aspect of sci-fi you like? Space travel, aliens, robots, etc... Or just a theme, idea, or feeling? The technology? The unknown/exploration? The hopeful nature? Do you know why?

Road Master I love a good funny sci-fi. But it's so rare to find one that gets the balance right.

Teresa Prokopanko It's the philosophy for me! Sci Fi gives such great canvas for exploring the philosophical, religious, and political issues we face today.

Road Master I love anything with robots, partially for this reason. It often does a really good job of exploring free will, slavery, personhood, etc...

Teresa Prokopanko That's why I love the least "human" characters in star Trek! Data, Odo, the EMH, etc...they're the most interesting because they're the mirror for humanity.

Abbie Gilfilen I look for complex or very vivid storytelling, but I think my favorite thing about science fiction is the philosophical aspects and the way certain fascinating concepts make me think.
