Julz I’m so looking forward to this! I loved the book and hope this is just as good.

Marina Jennings My caveats to this is not having Rylands inner monologue in the movie… some of the best moments are his funny thoughts during research/adventure and makes for great storytelling.

Road Master I still haven't read the book. Now I don't know if I want to do that before or after the movie.

Ryan I haven’t read the book but he seems to be alone for much of the film. I wonder if they’ll give him vlogging system to monologue to (like they did for Damon in The Martian). That would get some of his inner-monologue into the movie (assuming they don’t just do a voice over).

lyzander cross I've wanted a movie version for years but the trailer has me skeptical that it will be any good they skipped past his amnesia (my favorite part) dumbed down the main character massively as far as I can tell and lead with massive spoilers in the trailer, to anyone who hasn't watched the trailer yet I highly recommend avoiding doing so

lyzander cross There's something the Martian did that I hope Project Hail Mary doesn't do, in the Martian they glazed over and sped past every struggle and issue that NASA had I get the feeling that's because of NASA's assistance with the movie, I really don't want to see them glaze over the issues with various agencies earth side again
