Sasquatch Sunset

"This is a difficult watch as the novelty of it all wears off pretty quickly. Before the halfway mark, I asked myself "WTF am I watching?" The full body makeup is quite impressive, but the gross out humor of h*rny antics and bodily fluids, including piss, poop, and even lactation was a bit much. The pace seems to be off kilter and gives the viewer the car crash vibe, where you can't look away. We get to follow a family of Sasquatch's through their mundane lives in their natural habitat as they occasionally encounter signs of human civilization. It ends abruptly and has an unfinished feel to it, but I was relieved it was over. This was a movie that I don't regret watching, but I won't recommend it because it definitely won't be for everyone. 6/10"

"Too weird, strange, hilarious, tragic and, above all, different, a movie with beautiful images and an unusual plot. The movie has no lines and focuses on the daily life of this family of sasquatches, everything is way off the track, you have to get involved by not taking anything seriously to have a good experience. The make-up and performances are very good, the expressions, noises and gestures are all very well developed."

"I’m definitely drawn to “weird” movies, which can be hit or miss. While I don’t regret watching it, I probably wouldn’t recommend it. I can’t say that it fell short of my expectations, because honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but there were definitely a few funny moments and it was written in a way that despite no dialogue, you got a pretty decent sense of the character’s personalities.
