"Decent Pixar film about a kid who doesn’t feel like he fits in and decides he just wants to be abducted(by aliens!) where he’ll feel more at home. Don’t deliver enough laughs, or tears to really put it in the Disney pantheon, but both my nine year and I lied it well enough for the storyline and animation."

"Elio was a movie I knew Disney was working on for a good minute and I wasn't sure how it was gonna be considering some of the other movies they've come out with in the recent years haven't been the best they could be. But luckily this movie was great and made me teary watching it. I felt it was wild that they had to kill off both of his parents from the get go but I guess it was needed for the story."

"Unique can sometimes feel like alone. Ok Disney, I see you're not playing around. For me this was like the riannah one mixed with epic and the one where the girl goes to see the moon goddess. Lots of pretty colours and lights but everything felt rushed. (Could be that I've finally developed an attention span longer than a child's). The story was good and connected with serious emotions, delivered in a great way for kids that could really hit home."

"Elio isn't Pixar's best, but it's pretty great. I loved how colorful the movie is, the sense of wonder, and the the soundtrack. Glordon is my favorite character by far. Pixar really dropped the ball on marketing this movie."
