"In 2016, my SO and I rewatched this together for the first time since we were very young. We both remembered this being live action. I guess I loved it so much, and it caught my imagination so much I wanted it to be real. What a shock. This is easily one of my favorite animated movies ever. Long live Superman. "
"This movie still is one of the best looking animated movies ever, every frame is so smooth and the cgi on the robot isn’t too bad considering when it was made. The anti war and gun sentiments are very well done, also of course not judging a giant robot by its big scary guns and always be empathetic to others. Just a beautifully animated film with a big heart that’s going to make you cry. "
"I’m honestly not sure I can bring myself to watch this again as an adult. This devastated me as a child. "
