"This is definitely not a great movie, but it is a fun watch if you're looking to pass some time. If you're looking for any of Guy Ritchie's usual flair, you're going to be disappointed, there is none of his signature style to be found here. This movie tries to give us an epic adventure like the Indiana Jones or National Treasure movies, but ends up falling a little flat by comparison. John Krasinski's character is the charming, confident adventurous type, whereas Natalie Portman's character is uptight and almost completely unlikeable. Eiza Gonzalez is the femme fatale trying to stop them. Beyond the characters that I mentioned, most everyone else is inconsequential, and adds very little to the story. The story has more than a few plot holes and almost feels like it was written by AI. But there are some good action sequences (even if they don't make sense) and some amazing visuals at cinematic locations. Not every movie has to be a masterpiece, but as long as it's entertaining... that's the point. Overall, this can be a fun watch, if you don't expect too much. 7/10"
"Silly, check your brain at the door family action adventure yarn. John Krasinki playing the Indiana Jones character. It’s very uneven in that the plot, characters and dialogue are PG-13 but the action/violence is full of murder and killings. It’s also ludicrous and ridiculous. But it kept my attention and made me want to stick around and find out what happened. "
"Cringy. I wasn’t expecting National Treasure, even though that’s obviously what they were going for. It was more Sahara, less Uncharted. If it reached a Tomb Raider level it would have been fine. Characters are laying it on pretty thick. Trying to be charismatic and comical but instead just coming across as lame. I didn’t understand the pointless side story of the divorce. The guy was unfaithful but somehow the one who was acting all salty and vindictive? Then wants full custody but leaves the son with the mom for a year? Makes no sense and honestly added nothing to the story. I thought at the very least it would be a fun watch, but instead it was a bit of a chore. Full of cliches. "
"I had a fun time with this, but it lacks any rewatch value. The characters are thin and half of the jokes don't land. "

"Was really looking forward to John K playing a relic hunter. I will watch John K in almost anything; this was disappointing. Sadly, this movie was formulaic and at times incoherent, a complicated story crammed into too short a show. Natalie Portman played the sister— poorly cast, shrill and unsympathetic."
"This movie has received a lot of negative reviews from various websites, with one mentioning a 38% 🍅 rating. However, if you enjoy films like National Treasure, Sahara, Jungle Cruise, and The Mummy, you might find this one appealing as well. It’s the kind of movie you could end up watching repeatedly if you catch it on TV. While it doesn’t break new ground in storytelling, it’s still an entertaining action-adventure film featuring Natalie Portman and Krasinski doing what they do best. Just sit back and enjoy the adventure!"
