"Another great short film from Wes Anderson, using 2 of the same cast members as the HENRY SUGAR film. Has a bit of a creepy vibe that works remarkably well, not to mention the editing towards the end. Ralph Fiennes in particular is the MVP here, and his performance is reminiscent of Timothy Spall as Peter Pettigrew in the HARRY POTTER movies."

"Intriguing and somewhat disturbing, but it makes me want to read the short story to find out if the ending in that is as ambiguous as the ending in the film. Also, though, I thought either the narrator or his buddy were secretly going to be a rat in disguise trying to gather info to aid in the further survival of rats and when the poison didn’t work that the rat catcher caught on and was using the demonstrations as a way to suss out which of them were the rat, so was a bit disappointed when that wasn’t the case."
