"Not letting me watch "

"I usually need to be in the right mood to watch a Sandler comedy and more often than not I come away disgruntled. But this is genuinely good. Very nostalgic and the entire gang is back along with the best PGA players today. Oh, and his entire family, all cute as can be. It’s just fun. And funny. I shouldn’t have waited. "
"It seemed to have the right ingredients for a sequel; bringing back the OGs with some other big names. With some similar gags as well. The movie is at least 15 years too late though.
Millennials are not going to have seen, nor have much care about the 1996 movie if they have seen. And people in my bracket aren't going to remember most of the original story unless you watch the first one quite recently.
I don't think the newer actors were utilized as well as they could be either. Eric Andre barely played a part for example, and the others could've had more development. So, It's got a few chuckles at best. Frankly I'm not surprised, because the equivalent to this would be a sequel for the movie Dodgeball. I think Sandler just wanted to do this one for fun."
"Was this necessary… no. But neither are a lot of movies. It was okay. No where near Adam’s worst. "

"Was it as good as the first? Of course not, but with how the storyline was drawn out, I could see the reasoning behind the second film, and enjoyed it as it was even though it wasn't as good.
Don't get me wrong, there was definitely a lot of funny parts in the film where I laughed, it is a comedy gold movie for someone who wants to laugh.
It was a great touch to add as many things from the first film as they did to remind people of things if they haven't seen the first film.
