The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1

"This movie neutered the ideas in the book, which were already quite shallow. It's probably worth a watch if you're invested in the politics."

"REWATCH: Thus began the end of an era and what an era it was. This series put me in a chokehold I will never escape. The fact that this movie is that good and then how part 2 elevates it to a fever pitch puts it in a league all its own when it comes to franchises."

"I will knock it down a point because it was a little slow, but obviously setting up for the next movie. This movie ain't a slouch either. Plenty of good moments like Katniss wanting to fight in the revolution, but not wanting to be the leader. She is reluctant, but she eventually accepts the role, which is something that I would do. Sad that it is Phillip Seymour Hoffman's last movie, he was an awesome actor, but he left on a high note. Definite recommend. "
