"Brian Cox stars as Avery, a reclusive old man that lives a simple life with his old dog Red. When some teen troublemakers try to rob him then kill his dog, he shows incredible restraint as he tries to get justice. When all efforts for redemption fail, things unravel in a deadly climax. It's a slow burn but in a good way. Noel Fisher, Tom Sizemore, and Kim Dickens have supporting roles. An interesting movie from 2008. 7/10"
