Into the Deep

"I am rating this shallow shark 🦈🦈 attack movie three stars because of Richard Dreyfuss. He is an advocate for shark conservation, and he actually talks briefly about that during the ending credits. (Unfortunately, he wasn't able to attend Shark-con in 2025 because of health problems.) Anyway, this floating disaster of a film has a long list of actors, if you want to call them that, or should I say over actors. Except for Richard Dreyfuss, whose few scenes are the reason I rated this movie higher than 2 stars, are at least passably good. A woman and her husband go on vacation with a friend who owns a boat. The couple and crew find themselves at the mercy of "pirates" who want them to retrieve something at the bottom of the ocean for them, with sharks biting at their heels. That is it. Enjoy, I suppose. "
