"This coming of age summer comedy from 2013 tells the story of a boy, Duncan, that seems uncomfortable in his own skin and struggles to fit in somewhere. Sam Rockwell is superb and reminded me of a young Robin Williams in this, fast talking with quick wit. Allison Janney also gives a standout performance. But Steve Carell plays an unlikeable butthole which was surprising. In the end, definitely a feel good film that everyone can enjoy. 8.5/10"

"So my sister kind of made me watch this movie and I'll just say it was really good. There were moments that were "awkward" and I couldn't help but laugh. The actors did an amazing job playing these characters. I've got to give credit to the casting crew. I really didn't like the mom's boyfriend, he got on my nerves alot.
