"A close friend suggested that I watch this movie almost a decade ago. I finally just watched it! 😂 The plot was really good and very original. There are a few scenes that are quite unbelievable, but had to happen to further the plot. I understand that. That is entertainment. The plot is about a shady lawyer, Lawson, played by Cuba Gooding, Jr. who has second thoughts defending a known killer, which happens in the second scene. Marianne Jean-Baptiste plays Elizabeth, his friend and fellow lawyer. Eric Stoltz plays a hardened criminal and rich man. Strange as it may seem, the story doesn't begin until after that occurs. And this is sure one bumpy thrill ride! Warning: ⚠️ Brief sexual scenes and female nudity. "
