"Tom Selleck, or Phil, a prolific mystery series writer, finds his muse in Nina, a beautiful Romanian woman, played by model and actress Paulina Porizkova, who may or may not be involved in a high profile murder. Most of the movie is narrated by Phil as he writes his newest book. William Daniel plays the role of Phil's long-time friend and book publisher. This comedy drama has standard 1980's sensibilities when it comes to relationships. Just know that if you watch it. It has the trope of "beautiful and desirable foreign woman who seems innocent 😇 falls for the somewhat male chauvinist character." There are some hilarious 🤣 scenes that keep me coming back to watch it every so often. "
