"Perhaps Hugh Marlowe was looking to star in another blockbuster movie following the success of The Day the Earth Stood Still. True, this was released five years later, but the alien sci-fi genre was still flying high. This sci-fi action movie starring Hugh Marlowe and Joan Taylor is exactly as the title describes: Earthlings fighting against an alien force that proves not to be so benevolent. There are the standard special effects with the flying saucers🛸, and the slowest aliens 👽 I have ever seen! 😁aA few scenes show the aliens walking, and it looks preposterous! But of course, this movie is only supposed to be entertaining, and despite a few useless lines of technical jargon, it is. Just enjoy the ride! 😂"
