"Although I thought that the chemistry of Doris Day and David Niven was more friendly than loving, the two were convincing as a couple raising four small children. Niven plays the role of a Broadway theatre 🎭 critic, and Day is the loving housewife who wants to indulge in her creative side. Day sort of stumbles into an opportunity to be a part of a stage play, and enjoys the idea of sharing in her husband's career. Niven is put into an uncomfortable position of having to review his wife's play. The story takes a mild twist from that point in the plot, but overall, it is a fair romantic comedy with some drama. "
