"This contemplative drama stars David Keith as Mason Rand, a computer engineer extraordinaire. He and Dr. Czaban, played by Stephanie Niznik, join military personnel, played by Brian Thompson as Captain Tower, and Ryan O'Neal as Allen Lysander, to discover the motivation behind the landing of what may be a sentient alien satellite. The plot covers the days of observation of the being, and some tense encounters with those who want to take hostile action, and scientists who want to take a more humane approach. James Avery, well-known by his character in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, stars as Dr. Holt, and James Hong, of various projects, stars as Ambassador Po. There are a few scenes of alien drama, and fair special effects. "
