Macbeth

"Overall a good movie, accurate to it's source material. Its setting is a post apocalypse type environment with guns and badass motorcycles, instead of being boring and old timey there is a modern(ish) twist! Starring Sean Pertwee as Macbeth, his acting really carries this film, the exaggerated emotions and "freak out" scenes are definitely my favorite. My only complaint is the sheer amout of diologue, most of the movie is talking. While its excusable due to being based on a Shakespeare play I dont think all this diologue works well with the rest of the movie which feels more like and action film. If you can live with Shakespeare lingo then this movie will be much more enjoyable. I adore the costumes and overall vibe, the filming locations are gorgeous and its just an all around good tim. There's a botcy ball scene in this movie based on a tragic play! Its hilarious! Dont go into Macbeth 1998 with high expectations, it's cheesy and dumb, but that's the fun of it!"
