"Would watch again for the campiness of the third act alone. Turner and Douglas' chemistry is phenomenal and I adore DeVito's directorial style. The ending was not what I expected-- I was sure it would be revealed that Barbara ended up with Gavin, but I'm okay with the canon ending, too.
I can't imagine the upcoming reboot/remake with Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman will even reach half the insanity of this film, but hopefully it'll be an adaptation that can still stand on its own."
"A married couple decides that after a long time of being married, it must come to an end. So they make each other’s lives a living hell with ill-natured pranks involving a sauna, an elegant dinner, real estate, and, infamously, a chandelier. This film takes it to the extreme in a darkly comedic fashion."
"Oldie but goodie. Dark comedy."
