"This was a piece I had to watch in my film class back in university, and I was so moved by it despite not having high expectations before watching. This is such a great movie surrounding the themes of fate and luck, taking place during the cultural revolution. This is a family's journey seeking the simple life and *to live*. Make sure you have tissues with you as you watch!"
