"This PG-13 sci-fi adventure movie is a decent watch. The young actors in the movie all do a fine job acting wise. Although the roles that the kids play in the film are totally unrealistic and lean a little on the corny side. There are some good action sequences, though. The argument could be made that it's like an alternative version of E.T. Kind of a fun movie, if you don't expect too much from it. 6.5/10"

"Somewhat the same storyline as Cloverfield, as Cloverfield had a baby alien terrified rooming around a city causing havoc because it was afraid. It's an interesting movie that you have to keep paying attention to if you don't, you miss stuff. They did a great job making it feel as if you were back a few decades. "It's the summer of 1979 and some kids get together to film a movie and end up witnessing a train derailment that ends in a government coverup. Scifi, action and some humor. The kids do a great job in this one."
