"I have appreciated this film ever since I originally saw it years ago. The plot truly is ahead of its time for the era: a neo fairytale about a curse, a knight, and a beautiful woman who is caught in between. Matthew Broderick, Rutger Hauer, and Michelle Pfeiffer star in this wonderful story of love, heartbreak, and injustice. Like all fairy tales volume, you must suspend disbelief, and see how the story unfolds. I am impressed by the filming, cinematography, acting, and how the director captures the mood of such a dark yet romantic tale. "
