The Man Who Knew Too Much

"Peter Lorre is despicable and so gloriously slimy in this old movie based on nothing else by this name. This is an early Hitchcock film about a gang of reprobates who like to bait their victims. It ends with an extended shoot out which is not that interesting. Some okay cinematography but not so unusual. The story is a bit of a stretch although I appreciate this mom’s skill."

"If you liked Confidential Report by Welles you'll enjoy this one. Hitchcock takes you through seedy underworld of wealth and power with conniving villians and great sequences throughout. Fav scene is the opera house for sure. "
