"When a 13 year old boy disappeared in San Antonio, TX, a French man from Spain claimed the boy's identity 3 years later. Is the family so traumatized and desperate to believe that it really is him or are there other more sinister motives? We may never know for sure. But this is definitely a wild story that true crime fans should enjoy. 8/10"
"This story was such a mess. A captivating mess. "

"This movie is unbelievably tragic. Sometimes you can want something to be true so badly you will believe it but I also blame authorities who tell family members that time has passed & their loved one will look different. It does greatly influence things. It reminds me of the book “Mistaken Identity: Two Families, One Survivor, Unwavering Hope” about the misidentification of the 2 girls from the Taylor university crash in Indiana, 1 dead, 1 alive. They told the wrong family their daughter was alive but because of severe head trauma she’d look nothing like their daughter & would be confused. Every time they noticed things that made them question her identity, they reminded themselves of that. It’s amazing how susceptible our mind is to suggestion or explanation."
