"This tense Hitchcock thriller starring Harley Granger as Guy, and Robert Walker as Bruno, starts out as a slow burn. Just as with most of Hitchcock's films, the last act is the most suspenseful, building action with every scene. Guy and Bruno meet on a commuter train, and strike up a strange conversation. Bruno steers the conversation from Guy's tennis career into morbid territory, including murder and revenge. The plot is mostly about how a seemingly innocent π encounter can turn dangerous. What a great film. It has been on my watchlist for years, and I can finally stroke it off my list! ππ"
