"This is one of my major favorite movies!! It's a lovely combination of history, action, adventure, and romance. I've probably watched around or over 100 times!!"

"This had so much potential! It's probably the most 3 star movie I've ever seen though. We needed about another 45 minutes for a plot like this, with the amount of characters we're supposed to understand the motivations for and care about. Too many stupid decisions happened, and we didn't get enough character arc from Paul Walker and Scottish Daddy, but I did really like Frances O'Connor's character in this. She was super capable but also caring. Also enjoyed Michael Sheen as hatable English noble guy."

"Didn’t read the book, likely won’t. However, I enjoyed the movie. It was #action filled with #adventure. Lots of twists with nemesis and corrupt wealth. Heroism, sacrifice and companionship. Takes a bit of leeway with changing past history and how it might impact the future. Well worth a watch. "
