"Thunderbolts* is a welcome addition to the MCU. I've waited anxiously for this one to come to Disney+, all the while trying to not know anything about the story, besides what I've seen in trailers. I must say that I'm a little surprised that the story revolved heavily around mental health. Surprised but not in a bad way. It's just not what I was expecting. The movie has all the action that one would expect from a Marvel film and there is a lot of humor mixed in too. I enjoyed it and look forward to seeing what part the Thunderbolts* will play in Phase 6 of the MCU. 8/10"
"It's one of those movies that makes you say "Well I hope Marvel continues this way with the rest of their movies." Because it was great.
Having "the villain" not actually be a villain, but depression. With the message being that there are people there willing to help you, who might not have been through the same as you but suffering the same. And they will help if you let them.
Honestly, one of my favorite films of the year 2025 so far"
"This was entertaining. It tackled some heavy topics centering around depression, the impact of childhood trauma and more. It was interesting to see how the characters sought out purpose and fulfillment. This led to some good dialog scenes. The action was good, the powers cool, and overall I enjoyed this movie. I probably wouldn't rewatch it though."
"I didn't expect much from this and kept an open mind approach, and it was ok at best but it could have been better. Pretty sure the villain in this movie is stronger in the comics version. But it's the MCU so they will change some stuff, I did enjoyed what they did though and it's a fun time before watching the future movies, can't wait for more Marvel stuff."
"If Marvel counts as disney now this is the only movie im supporting where the villain isnt a villain, all other disney movies coming up I need them to have actual villains we dont need to be sympathetic for. Scar, Mother Gothel, Frodo, I need these type villains for the next gen, rant over"
