"The first season was all about a mysterious, underground movie that is said to make anyone who views it go mad. They will tear at each other's flesh as well as their own. They kill, commit suicide, and, if they survive, go insane. There are a lot of interesting and true life people who were fictionally "involved" in the making of this Last Movie, so called because if you view it, it will be the last thing you ever see. Reading up on these real people (on Wikipedia) was eye-opening and gave me a lot of insight into some obscure history, completely outside of this fictional podcast!
The end of the season was and wasn't satisfying.
The second season isn't actually about The Last Movie. There are two new people hired on, and they take over the creating and recording this season. They pitched their idea of making a new podcast about strange occurrences on the internet, and they called it BCC for Blind Carbon Copy, which they think is eerie. It's creepy thinking someone else you have no idea about is reading the email you received, so they say.
Anyway, the first episode ends up having some things come up from The Last Movie, so I guess they decided to make it season two of that podcast even though it never goes back into that whole thing. Instead, it's about ANOTHER movie that is extremely mysterious as well. I actually think I liked it better than season one. I liked the two new podcasters a lot. It definitely has been left open for another season, and I really hope they make it.
My biggest gripe is MK. She's rude, but you end up liking her anyway. That is, until the end of season two. By then, I was seriously disliking her. Other than that, really great podcast and highly recommend. So much easier to understand than Tanis and even Rabbits."
