Annabella McMillianLoved this book! I want more leading up to the time period of The Hunger Games! The twists and turns had me with whiplash! The way the characters played on my emotions wasn’t fair. Haha.
Annabella McMillianHonestly, I wish this book would’ve been more. Perhaps a set of Edward’s POV from the entire saga? Also, maybe the hype on it being about Jacob and Renesme was a bit too high, so I went in thinking one thing, got spun around, and ended up feeling a bit let down.
Annabella McMillianSadly, I’m not really sure what to say about this novel. It was hard to get into, so I started and stopped it multiple times, but I’ve finally finished it. I listened to the audiobook, and I do plan on buying the physical copy. This book wasn’t my least favorite, but it also wasn’t my favorite. The story, overall, was decent, but the whole time I was listening to it, I felt….meh. I have more by this author, and I hope the next one I read by her is more enjoyable for me.
Annabella McMillianThis book was one of the few high fantasy I’ve read, and one of the only high fantasy series I’ve ever looked at. It was slow to start, and the multiple POVs were confusing at first, so it took me longer than it normally would to read it, but once I got past all of the confusion and slow parts, it was a great novel! I loved it and the characters. The way it ended on a cliffhanger was perfectly timed. All of the characters are easy to understand and feel emotions - whether negative or positive, depending on who they are - for throughout. Can’t wait to dive into the next one!

Has anyone read Malice by John Geynne? Would it be considered “high fantasy”? What’s everyone’s thoughts on it (please no spoilers)?
Annabella McMillianThis book made me so emotional. I felt the character’s pain and related to it more than I want to admit. Wish I had her strength when I was younger, too. Amazingly told!
Annabella McMillianThis book tugged at my heart strings just like the other two! I loved the more realistic aspect of these three when it came to issues and dating/falling in love. I’m excited to read more from Lauren Asher! She did an excellent job of making sure non of the novels spoiled the next with its details until you read the very last one.
Annabella McMillianThis book was very cute! I loved the more realistic aspect, and my heart ached for the characters. I loved their relationship from start to finish, and I could relate to their struggles.
Annabella McMillianThis book actually made me laugh out loud! I enjoyed this book so much because of the characters. I was surprised that this was more steamy than ****, but that honestly made me love the book even more! Absolutely loved this novel. Can’t wait to finish the trilogy.
