aubreythis book seems criminally underrated. i had read this for a book club about two years ago ? probably in october and i feel like so many people would love this. while i read this at like 12-13 years old, i would say it’s for more mature audiences. if you’re a mature 12-13 year old like i was, then it seems fine… it does cover rough topics so do check for those.. but other than that, i think anyone who likes a simple magic system and slow burn romance would like this. love it even. yelena is such a lovable character and i really enjoyed reading about her. this needs more recognition!

aubreythis book is seriously underrated. it’s one of my favs of all time. it’s so cute and really got me into reading. the characters are amazing, i love the setting and time period, i love the steampunk, everything about it is great. anyone who hasn’t read this is missing out. i loved this book so much i could go on about the characters and every event, but that would take way too long to write. i recommend this to everyone.

aubreyTHIS BOOK IS SO GOOD i just finished it like 5 minutes ago. i love when books change perspectives, so i loved this from the start. THE CHARACTERS! they’re all so silly and smart and brave 🫶🫶 it’s giving HUGE stranger things vibes, but it’s unique and different in its own way, and it’s just amazing i bought this at cupboard maker books!! it was calling me for months until i actually brought my money and took it home with me 💓

aubreythis was a really good read! i read this earlier this year and im just now reviewing it.. i’m a very slow reader, and this kept my attention :) i love harper and rhen as characters and their development was great. this was so fun to read! this could so work as a standalone, but i ordered the last two books since i loved the first one (and i’m in a slump. i’m sure these will help!!) and anyone else reading this will feel the same after they get their hands on it! i don’t look too deep into writing styles or if a book is or isn’t “written well” but if i enjoyed it, then it’s a good book to me. i do think this was written well, thinking back to it :)
