Biggy BrolunchIf you like binge-reading Harry Potter, but also like a conceptual challenge, this is your fix. HPMOR is a thoughtful retelling of Harry's story with a brilliant twist. Rather than locked in a cupboard, Harry has been lovingly raised to appreciate logic and science by his adoptive parents. When magic comes knocking, Harry has questions that lead him headlong into familiar adventures at Hogwarts and beyond. It's fun, clever and chock full of content from across the Potterverse.
Biggy BrolunchI strongly recommend Asimov's Foundation series. It has many similar themes of truth and societal decay, but rooted firmly in hope for an eternal resilience of humanity. I've also found the Apple+ TV adaptation to be quite engaging, though it makes some questionable philosophical changes from the original works.
