Chelsea AganThis was my first Kristin Hannah book and I’ve been hooked on her ever since. The descriptions she used made it so real and easy to use your imagination to picture everything she wrote. Her words put you there and made you see and experience a taste of what WWII was like for these women. So good. I loved it. Very emotional book.
Chelsea AganLove books that keep you suspended the whole time. Kept me on the edge of my seat!
Chelsea AganI agree with the reviews that it did start slow for me. Each character was important and it took some time to help you learn about each one. But it was very interesting and important to see how everyone was connected. Once it started moving though, it was hard to put down. Very interesting and not what I expected, which I love in a book. Another one full of twists and turns.
Chelsea AganLoved the detail, the whole plot. Couldn’t put it down.
Chelsea AganPlot twist got me! Really good and suspenseful the whole way through.
Chelsea AganNot my normal genre that I like to read, but glad I did. Heartbreaking, touching story of the survival of a mother and her young son on the run for their lives as Migrants in Mexico. Gave you a glimpse of what life is like for migrants. How dangerous that journey can be. And as a mom, put me in Lydia’s position and how we will do anything to protect our own. Loved it. Great read.
Chelsea AganSo. Good. I couldn’t put it down. Read in two days. It was suspenseful from beginning to end with a huge twist at the end I didn’t expect AT ALL. Great read. Exactly how a mystery/suspense book should be.
