"My opinions of Sonic X have changed. Instead of thinking of it as a Sonic show with humans consider it a isekai show where Sonic and friends come to our world. The humans that take up so much of the screen time are much more tolerable because they’re the natives helping out the isekai protagonist navigate the new world they’re in. If I’m remembering correctly, the first season is robot monster of the week, the next two are adaptations of the Sonic Adventure games, last was a completely original space opera story. Obviously the space opera was the coolest part because it was just weird. "

"Woke up to 4kids every morning as a kid for this, I loved it's last season but love it's beginning too. I missed out a lot on the original version so to find out Sonic in the original jpn dub occasionally have fun quirks of cursing or speaking English wow's me Super solid animated adaptation for Sonic and it's games. I love the original characters and the friendships that form with the canon established characters, And I prefer Sonic and Helen over Chris to be honest. I adored their episode together."
