The Walking Dead

"I've started watching this because I promised a dear friend that one day I would. So far I'm intrigued by the grim reality of the world and the portrait of humanity with it's strength, weakness, and sublimely beautiful angst. More at a later time. So far I've made it to season 6."

"I recently was finally able to catch up and finish watching this series that I have enjoyed immensely from the beginning. I was and still am a fan of the original comic book series and initially, I was a little annoyed that they didn't stay true to the storyline from the comic. In fact they even added characters to the show that never existed in the books. But then I relented, and accepted that this show had taken on a life of its own. Some seasons were better than others, but overall...a fantastic show!!! 9/10 Now I need to catch up on the last season of Fear: The Walking Dead before I watch Dead City and then Daryl Dixon."

"It's no secret that most characters eventually get killed off. Unfortunately maybe that's why the show lost its momentum around season 7. Personally I do think it gets better towards the end of the very depressing Negan war and I still want to see how it all ends despite the now semi-interesting story. I find myself almost forcing myself to finish it now that the last season is out but thankfully I can see the conclusion. I think if the story had gone a slightly different direction 2/3rds of the way through the series then there would have been some maintained interest. "

"Was going to wait when I finished this but really got annoyed from the finale of one of the seasons. I'll say what I like about it first. This really takes me back to my lost days. Because there are a ton of characters. And they all are so deeply written it surprised me because I didn't at all expect to actually like this show this much. Favorites for me are Carol, Daryll and Hershel. Don't care for Maggie, Sasha, and well probably just those two just really care about at all. They are just there for me. Same for the Governor as well. Won't say who I hate because it's a character apparently everyone hated. Anyways really enjoy the conflict between characters. Really because both sides are right or at least I can like know where they are coming from. Do not like the zombies sometimes are barely even in it.This show can be extremely slow. Which honestly at times even with me enjoying slow moments its a bit much. I love this show the action, the survival, drama, and everything really. Which is why the finale of season 7 annoyed me so much. Won't really get into it because this review is not my favorite so don't want to make it longer. But that finale ruined the build up for me. I will watch as much of the rest of the show as I can but if it does get worse I don't know if I can keep watching. Favorite season so far is 4 or 5. Probably for slightly more. I will be annoyed if I get a spoiler but honestly spoilers don't really annoy me as much as they once did.less"
