"A dark drama about a woman seeking to find a connection in life meets as she one of her fans from her show Mask Girl, what happens next and the following events touch the lives of others. For those who enjoyed series Somebody, as two women come to the forefront while the events from the past make a domino effect on lives in the present."

"Each episode was about a different person's life and perspective that connected to the main character, making it a bit confusing at times. The beginning and end of the show were the best parts."

"Not your average k-drama. If this is supposed to be a comedy, then the theme is very dark since I don't remember laughing once. It explores abuse, neglect, misplaced desire for acceptance... It went nowhere I was expecting which added to the weirdness and why I liked it so much that I binged it in a week."

"What I liked most about this show was that each episode was so different than the others. The first two episodes are the most similar because they happen in the same time and place. After that you move around. The main character is Mo-mi and she's quite the protagonist/antagonist. You literally have no idea the kind of person she will end up to be or what she is willing to do just by watching the first episode. But it's definitely not a happy show. Good people are bad people and bad people are good people. Well, not in all cases. Two people are just evil.
This show takes you on a journey. You go all over the place. You don't necessarily end up at a happy destination though. I enjoyed each episode because each one told a different story by a different person, for the most part. I can't say that I loved the end. How does one come away from all that and find happiness or peace? So much trauma for one person to take. It was sad but it was left hopeful, I guess.
"Mask Girl is a 2023 South Korean black comedy crime thriller television series." Yep. The comedy is minimal though. Very minimal. Also, it's based on a webtoon.
"Kim Mo-mi, an office worker who is insecure about her looks, becomes a masked internet personality by night—until a chain of unexpected, ill-fated events overtakes her life." Yep.
I really don't want to say much more than that. It's hard to say anything else without giving too much away. If it sounds good based on this and other reviews, you should watch it. I am glad I did.
3.5/5*s but rounding up because I loved how different each episode was. That pushed it up for me."

"Hmm I think not my cup of tea. It started of weird but I was still intrigued to give it a chance. Episode 2 got even more weird and intense. Decided to move on to something more light hearted"

"I think some additions to the show were unnecessary and disturbing. But I still enjoyed the plot."
