"I was really excited to watch this series on Hulu. Despite the many plot holes, I really did enjoy it. First of all, there is a lot of production value, from the set design, aesthetics, lighting... all top notch. Once you get past the plot holes like how the giant spacecraft is going to crash into earth without any response or action from the planet to divert and that the damage by said spacecraft would be catastrophic to say the least. Also that they would send young search and rescue people and synthetics with weapons but no rescue equipment is poorly thought out. But I guess you need to set that aside to get to the main storyline, which took a different direction than I expected. Two multi trillion dollar companies are at odds to gain control of the alien life forms that are housed in the spacecraft. The boy genius, head of one company sends his brand new synthetic beings, that were once all sick and dying children, to gain control of the life forms. Most of the reviews that I've read hated this storyline but I didn't mind it. I really enjoyed the addition of new alien life forms besides the Xenomorph, my favorite being the Eyeball Octopus. They were able to capture some of the atmosphere of dread from the original at times. There were some slow spots and a few pacing issues throughout but not enough to ruin it. And I LOVED that they finished each episode with a kick-ass rock song!!! Fingers crossed 🤞 that they pick it up for a second season, I'll be sure to keep watching. 8.5/10"
"Been waiting on this show for like two years now and finally it’s here. The first two episodes off to a great start"

"First, whoever is giving these rave reviews has to be getting paid.
This show makes no sense. I'm 2 episodes in and I'm not sure if I can keep watching.
The premise makes no sense.
Why send untrained super solider children on search and rescue mission?
There is something "off" about Wendy. Like how do you have memories but no emotions, biochemistry influences emotions but just because you can't make those chemicals you shouldn't act like a robot and the fact she wants to save her brother conflicts with that statement "

"Love this …just as good as the films!!! I have to say it gets better and better every episode and it’s killing me every week to have to wait a week to find out what happens next. It really starts to get crazy good around episode 4 or 5. And episode 6 was a major cliffhanger."
