"This is one of the craziest true crime stories you will ever hear because the way it’s all connected. The best writers in the world couldn’t have wrote this plot. I already knew about what happened in the end but never knew the back story. #mustwatch "

"I knew the facts of this case, but now think about it quite differently after watching this doc. Deals with issues involving family systems, generational trauma, and effects of the media following a tragedy. Very interesting family "

"Fascinating story but I really dislike the documentary/film maker’s style. It was mostly just recycled footage from the movie made about this case called “I know my name is Steven”. It was cringey to watch the actors who played in the film be asked to read & perform dialogue from a transcript. I couldn’t get past the first episode. Probably the worst documentary I’ve ever seen in my 40years. "

"While this documentary was not overly well done and a bit convoluted with the addition of actors to replace deceased family members, the story blew me away... what happened to Steven himself and what horrible things he must have endured, but also his older brother. Just a horrific story and generational trauma for everyone involved. Worth a watch if you don't know the story. "
