"It felt like I was watching a half baked idea and a rip off of my next life as a villainess with less personality.
But, I am curious how it will continue so I plan to return for season 2. I'm just not sure I will watch it again until then.
One character was actually a surprise and rather heartwarming. I hope to see lots more of him and see the reactions from other characters too. He brought light to this rather by the numbers show.
Let me clarify something. It's not necessarily bad. But it legit feels like other shows mashed into this then flattened out to make it more desirable for the masses. I'm not joking with the comparison to my next life as the villainess. It felt almost exactly like that one without as much rambunctious ramblings and craziness occurring. While I actually tend to enjoy the calmer shows I did not find myself invested with this one. I would recommend going into this not having watched that show first. Trust me it will help with your enjoyment levels. I did like the main character though. She didn't feel useless or powerless. Some shows can pull that off but this was a breath of fresh air. Anytime she fought I felt invested watching her. She just manages to pull off the isekai part while also being the next queen. It just works.
I can't fully expect people to enjoy this too but I am looking g forward to season 2."
