"This was quite good. I think they did a good job portraying a strong female with a well balanced male lead. Their relationship doesn't start well. They truly had to earn it and I enjoyed the journey. I liked that the story didn't end as soon as they fell in love. The plot is good. It allowed for conflict, tension and war without a power hungry ML. The relationships in this show are complex and healthy in a way you do not typically see in these types of dramas.
Normally I complain that we do not get a long enough ending but this time I think it was 4-5 episodes too long. We had a conclusion with a big battle and a story wrapped up in a very traditional story telling plot. We didn't need to have another battle that was just heartbreaking and anticlimactic. All they did was kill off some characters. We watched one's death replayed 5+ times just to drive that knife in really deep. It was unnecessary. Both spots had happy endings where the good guys win. "
